This light-work by artist Phillip K. Smith III fills three two-story windows on the façade of the Newark Museum of Art. The artwork is a permanent acquisition as part of its collection. It lights up every evening at sunset throughout the evening, illuminating not only the façade but an active plaza and park across the road.
Neon Fab Studios was provided a hand sketch by the artist and from there built a 3Dimensional model and full technical drawings to provide the means for its construction. We worked hand in hand with the artist on every detail of its design and sought a well suited fabricator. Our team oversaw all project management and logistics directly with the client from concept design through installation.
