With unprecedented ambition, Riyadh Art set out to lay the groundwork for 1000 artworks in the city of Riyadh. UAP Company lead the efforts in a collaboration with Future City creative placemakers and the architectural firm HWKN. The resulting masterplan initiative was a compendium of 10 books that proposed both permanent artworks and an annual arts festival that would enliven the city and make it an international destination for public art while bolstering the local economy.

Sean Billy Kizy led this project as Project Manager at UAP Polich Tallix, traveling to Saudi Arabia ten times in the course of six months to oversee client meetings, site visits and design charrettes. This included a masterplan presentation to his Excellency Mohammed bin Salman and a subsequent budget presentation to his Royal Court.
